Design
Initial design of a system to meet your needs is the most critical step in selecting and installing any system. AAS provides on site planning with management and selection of the best fit package to meet your objectives. Definition of real "NEEDS" versus "WANTS" is important to system design. "WANTS" will be analyzed to insure that the cost of capturing information is justified, but also making sure that nothing prohibits future inclusion when justified.
Installation
Installation of the system includes specification of the various "Defaults" that each system requires. Most customers that try to install systems on their own usually make decisions without knowing the real impact of each default variable and later find that concise, meaningful information is not available without additional manipulation. This is the critical stage requiring understanding of your business needs as well as the capability of the software.
Inventory Control
Many smaller companies suffer from poor inventory control due to lack of knowledge and/or lack of time to properly maintain their inventories. I will provide on a part time basis review of your proceedures and maintain your system parameters, whether it be a min/max, just in time or MRP system. This function has a big potential to improve on time deliveries, reduced inventories and satisfied customers.
Documentation
As your system grows it becomes impossible to delegate workload to other personnel without documented procedures.
Whether you are implementing ISO 9000 or just realizing that verbal instructions are not getting the job done correctly, I can help your staff define and document workflow procedures. This can pay for itself the first time you need to train an employee for a new function.
Support
AAS Business Systems provides on going support as needed, on-site, by email or by phone. Occasionally new products are added to your company offerings that may require completely different processing than traditional products and require additional support.
